2. Data We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: email address, display name, current role, bio
• User-generated content: entries (the bet, what happened, what you'd tell yourself), tags
• Social interactions: reactions, follows
• Payment information: processed by Stripe (we store only Stripe customer ID and subscription metadata)
• Feedback: cancellation survey responses

Information collected automatically

• Analytics data: page views, feature usage, session data (via PostHog, with your consent)
• Error and performance data: error reports, page load times (via Sentry)
• Authentication cookies: session tokens managed by Supabase Auth

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and maintain the Platform
• To display your entries and profile to other users per your visibility settings
• To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe
• To improve the Platform through analytics (with your consent)
• To detect and prevent abuse through content moderation
• To communicate important account or service updates

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase — Database hosting and authentication
• Stripe — Payment processing
• Vercel — Application hosting
• PostHog — Product analytics (with your consent)
• Sentry — Error tracking and performance monitoring

Each provider processes data under their own privacy policies and in compliance with applicable data protection regulations.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion:

• Your profile, entries, reactions, follows, and subscription records are permanently deleted from our database
• Any cancellation feedback you submitted is anonymized (your user ID is removed)
• Stripe retains payment records per their own retention policies for tax and compliance purposes
• PostHog and Sentry data expires per their configured retention periods

Under GDPR (EU/EEA residents)

• Right of access — Request a copy of your personal data
• Right to rectification — Update inaccurate data via Settings
• Right to erasure — Delete your account and all associated data
• Right to restrict processing — Request limitation on data use

• Right to delete — Request deletion of your personal information
